Data aggregation
A single query (tax ID, name, national ID number, date of birth) triggers a parallel lookup across 110+ sources: domestic and foreign company registries, sanctions lists, PEP/RCA databases, VAT registers, CRBR, adverse media and more. The data comes back in a unified format, so you don’t need to know the structure of every registry individually.
Normalization and enrichment
Raw registry data comes in different formats, encodings and notation conventions. Vercly Core normalizes, deduplicates and enriches it – for example, filling in the date of birth for PEP records, which is key to reducing false matches before analysis even begins. The full change history is retained for audit purposes.
Matching and scoring
Vercly Core doesn’t do simple text-to-text comparison. Jaro-Winkler, Levenshtein and phonetic (Soundex) algorithms check name, date of birth, nationality and other identifiers simultaneously, each with its own weight. Around 20 configurable parameters let you fine-tune the balance between false positives and false negatives. The result: fewer false hits, faster decisions.
